TREATMENT EXPLAINED

carbon laser peel

A Carbon Laser Peel is a non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve skin tone, texture, and clarity. A thin layer of carbon lotion is applied to the skin, which penetrates deep into pores. A specialised laser is then passed over the skin, targeting the carbon particles. This gently exfoliates dead skin cells, clears pores, stimulates collagen, and reduces impurities. Common treatment areas include face, neck, chest, back, underarms and hands.

Benefits of a Carbon Laser Peel:

Deeply cleanses & tightens pores

Improves oily & congested skin

Reduces blackheads and acne-causing bacteria

Brightens dull skin for a refreshed glow

Improves skin texture & smoothness

Stimulates collagen for firmer, younger-looking skin

Requires minimal downtime

Recommended For: Enlarged pores, oily or acne-prone skin, dull tired-looking skin, uneven skin tone, fine lines and mild signs of ageing, mild acne scarring or post-inflammatory pigmentation

Sensation During Treatment: You may feel a mild warmth and tingling as the laser passes over the skin. The sensation is comfortable and most clients describe it as a light prickling or popping.

A single treatment will give your skin an instant refreshed, radiant glow. For longer-lasting improvements, a course of 4-6 treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart is recommended. After completing a course, maintenance sessions every 1-3 months can help to sustain results.

Carbon Laser Peel is generally very safe when performed correctly, but as with any cosmetic treatment, there are potential risks, which include but are not limited to:

Redness or mild swelling (usually temporary)

Dryness, flaking, or tightness of the skin for 1-2 days

Temporary sensitivity to sunlight (importance of SPF use)

Breakouts in acne-prone skin as pores purge impurities

Changes in pigmentation (lightening or darkening of skin, more likely in darker skin tones)

Very rare: blistering, infection, burns, or scarring if aftercare is not followed or if skin reacts unusually

Eye injury if protective eyewear is not used correctly (safety goggles are mandatory)

Compliance with post-treatment instructions is crucial for healing.
